Artificial Intelligence is a powerful system that can automatically predict runway safety issues and produce optimal decisions to solve the problem in real time. The purpose of this project is to develop a framework for an AI system and provide guidelines for integrating an AI system to airports in order to improve runway safety.
Define evidence-based, practical tools for airports interested in supporting anti-human trafficking efforts, through a project that complements and keep step with efforts at the USDOT and FAA, as well as those of a Congressionally-directed Federal Advisory Committee and its recommendation, due out July 3, 2019.
Concrete overlays are a growing trend in pavement maintenance and rehabilitation. Rapid-setting concrete overlays offer the potential or reopening aprons, taxiways and runways quickly. The viability and durability of rapid setting concrete overlays over asphalt or concrete airfield pavement should be evaluated and tested in order to provide airports and consultants with suitable practice guidelines.
A research project that would allow across the board runway length determination analysis.
The objective is to update the guidance and software for calculating airport construction emissions in order to:
• Incorporate the latest construction practices and regulatory requirements.
• Calculate emissions through the latest version of MOVES.
• Integrate applicable modifications to ACRP Report 102 and the Airport Construction Emissions Inventory Tool (ACEIT)
