Artificial Intelligence is a powerful system that can automatically predict runway safety issues and produce optimal decisions to solve the problem in real time. The purpose of this project is to develop a framework for an AI system and provide guidelines for integrating an AI system to airports in order to improve runway safety.
Blockchain technology (e.g., open source Enterprise Ethereum) can be used as a vendor neutral integration layer to secure IoT devices to prevent malicious attacks, enable myriad IoT devices installed at the airports to work together in concert to unlock new value creation between different parties, and reward IoT operators for the value produced by data.
The development of a Primer and Guidebook to assist Airport's with assessing their readiness for digital transformation. The results of this research would support Airport's to understand exactly where they are on the transformation continuum and provide guidance and direction on the next steps of the journey.
