The objective of this research project is to develop more topic-specific in-depth training courses and materials to build upon the courses developed under the 02-61 project to create an "Airport Stormwater 201" curriculum.
A Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP), specific to the needs of ramp workers, will be developed and implemented in at least one airport with the feasibility, acceptability and efficacy of the program evaluated. An implementation schedule should then be devised to provide a successful program to ramp workers in major airports across the country.

The end result should provide best practices that will enable airports to plan facilities (e.g. Daycare), streamline socioeconomic policies and educational programs.
How can airports set up incubators unit to create a space for innovators to solve airport problems based on challenges placed on them from different departments? Then, using the resulting solution, partner (in terms of equity) with the innovators, help them form companies that the airport would be. Partner on in terms of the laboratory for the solutions, then market to other airports.
Provide extra already badged and vetted employees for companies on the airport.
Customer experience is a key driver of passenger satisfaction, airport revenue, and the overall ranking of an airport. Training and professional development of airport emergency managers is needed to orient new airport emergency managers to the special operational, regulatory, safety, administrative, and cultural aspects of functioning at an airport. This is becoming more urgent as more and more often airports are hiring emergency managers whose experience has been outside aviation.

This project will develop comprehensive guidance for advancing social equity at airports, including example programs and initiatives, how to address equity in project management and staffing, and best practices for airport executives.
