The objective of this research project is to develop more topic-specific in-depth training courses and materials to build upon the courses developed under the 02-61 project to create an "Airport Stormwater 201" curriculum.
A Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP), specific to the needs of ramp workers, will be developed and implemented in at least one airport with the feasibility, acceptability and efficacy of the program evaluated. An implementation schedule should then be devised to provide a successful program to ramp workers in major airports across the country.

The end result should provide best practices that will enable airports to plan facilities (e.g. Daycare), streamline socioeconomic policies and educational programs.
How can airports set up incubators unit to create a space for innovators to solve airport problems based on challenges placed on them from different departments? Then, using the resulting solution, partner (in terms of equity) with the innovators, help them form companies that the airport would be. Partner on in terms of the laboratory for the solutions, then market to other airports.
Provide extra already badged and vetted employees for companies on the airport.
New research that identifies and describes the cognitive abilities used in airfield operations, as well as the limitations and potential complications of current practices. The research should identify methods for mitigating risks inherent to human performance and should identify and/or recommend best practices for developing or improving these abilities.
Develop updated academic curriculums and requirements to cultivate airport industry professionals to meet existing and future needs.
Develop a talent cultivation "playbook" that would provide the aviation industry with inspiring, tested, and rapidly-implementable techniques front line managers and senior staff can use to enhance talent cultivation and knowledge transfer in their organizations. Customer experience is a key driver of passenger satisfaction, airport revenue, and the overall ranking of an airport. While task saturation is listed as a top 10 safety concern, there is little to no evidence that there are interventions in place to mitigate its impact on human performance.
