Develop airport-specific Incident Command System training courses at the ICS-100 and ICS-200 levels that meets NIMS training standards as established by the National Incident Management System Training Program.
New research that identifies and describes the cognitive abilities used in airfield operations, as well as the limitations and potential complications of current practices. The research should identify methods for mitigating risks inherent to human performance and should identify and/or recommend best practices for developing or improving these abilities.

To compile data from various airports around the country about practices they use for airport credentialing. This would also include the setup and staffing of an airport credentialing office.
Conduct research on airport noise and emissions regulations,
requirements, programs in place at U.S. airports, including the impetus
for each, legal authority and impact.
Air travel is facing increasing threats to operations and facilities from climate changes, but there is not clear guidance on how airports should prepare. This study would examine the potential impacts and offer guidance on how best to defend against these threats.
